I don’t normally have a Christmas tree, but since I got married my husband and I have been doing more “family-oriented” things. We did a real tree the first year and it was MESSY! The next year, I broke down and did something I said I would never do, get a fake tree. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did. It’s so easy to set up and take down. No worrying about having to find someplace to dispose of it. Made life a lot simpler, except for one thing…the ugly green holder at the bottom.
I went to some of the stores and any of the skirts that I liked were way too expensive. I finally decided just to make one. I used just some green, red, and white acrylic yarn, a 5.5 mm crochet hook, and worked in rounds.
Just make sure to put your yarn away when you leave or you may just come back to something like this…
